Manage Roles
Needed to grant and safely remove configured Bridge-managed roles. Discord hierarchy still limits Bridge to roles below its highest role.
INSTALL BRIDGE
Add Bridge without Administrator permission.
Bridge asks only for the Discord permissions needed to synchronize configured roles and operate its management surfaces. The public install flow does not request Administrator.
REQUESTED PERMISSIONS
Know what Bridge can do before installing.
View Channels
Allows Bridge to use configured setup, verification, audit, support, and Role Menu channels where applicable.
Send Messages
Used for setup panels, verification panels, Role Menus, audit/status output, and requested bot responses.
Embed Links
Allows Bridge to present structured Discord embeds for status, setup, verification, Role Menus, audit, and management information.
Read Message History
Lets Bridge find and update its existing persistent messages in place instead of posting duplicates.
Manage Expressions
Used only when a server chooses Role Menu Color Swatches so Bridge can create and clean up the swatch emojis it tracks. Bridge never manages unrelated emojis.
SAFETY
Administrator is intentionally excluded.
Bridge also blocks Administrator-enabled roles from ordinary synchronized-role grants and applies stricter actual-server-owner controls to high-privilege Staff Federation mappings.
